Hurricane River campground has a total of 22 campsites (Upper and Lower Loops) and is located where the river enters into Lake Superior at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.

Campsites are suitable for tents, trailers and RVs. All campsites are secluded with lots of room and lots of brush between sites. Each site also has a table, lantern post, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water and vault toilets. Food storage lockers are also available.

All campsites are close to Lake Superior, but the Lower loop is closest to the water and beach.  Cell phone reception is limited. There are also ‘generator free’ areas in the campground.
