Father Hennepin State Park campground has 103 single-family campsites (51 with electric hookups) and is located next to Isle Harbor of Mille Lacs Lake. There are two camping areas including Lakeview (sites 1-62) and Maple Grove (sits 63-103). There are also 6 group campsites available.

Campsites are well shaded and can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a grill, fire ring and table. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($) and a dump station. Free Wifi is also available and the signal is generally strong. Firewood is also available for sale at the park.

Father Hennepin State Park- Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, water sports, swimming, picnicking, wildlife viewing, hiking, biking and hunting. In the winter, visitors can also enjoy cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

Mille Lacs Kathio State Park is also located next to Mille Lacs Lake.
