Mille Lacs Kathio State Park has 2 campgrounds with a total of 70 single-family campsites set in a wooded forest and near Ogechie Lake. There are also 4 backpack sites, 10 equestrian sites, a group site and 5 cabins available.

Mille Lacs Kathio State Park – Area Recreation & Info
The park is a National Historic Landmark and has many historic and archaeological sites. Outdoor recreation includes boating, fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Canoe & kayaking rentals are also available. Winter sports include cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and sledding.
