MN Interstate State Park has the world’s deepest explored pothole at Interstate State Park and other wonders sure to amaze you. The campground has 37 single-family campsites (22 with electric hookups) in a wooded forest along the St. Croix River. Campsites are suitable for tents, trailers and RVs. There are several river front sites. Each site also has table, fire ring and grate. Group camping is also available.

The campground has drinking water, showers, flush and vault toilets and a dump station (available seasonally).

MN Interstate State Park – Area Recreation & Info

The Park includes two state parks on the Minnesota-Wisconsin border, both named Interstate State Park. It is located along the St. Croix River and offers a variety of outdoor recreation opportunities including boating, fishing, canoe/kayaking, hiking, biking and rock climbing. Wildlife viewing is also nice here.

You may also like Interstate State Park over in Wisconsin.  William O’ Brien State Park is also 15 miles south (on MN-95) on the St. Croix River.

  1. We staied here for the first time and the last! We couldn’t do anything without a park person telling us where to park and what to do. We got a drop off 2 times and before we could get out of the car people were telling the people we were with to park somewhere else when they only stopped to drop us off. Seriously you can’t get a visitor or even dropped off with out someone talking to you like you are doing something wrong. I guess I will stay on the Wisconsin side next time.
