Upper Sioux Agency State Park is located along the Minnesota River and has 98 campsites including 14 with electric hookups, 34 standard, 3 walk-to, 3 tipis and 45 equestrian sites. There are also rustic campsites in the Riverside Campground.
Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water, vault & flush toilets and showers. Firewood and ice are also available to purchase at the Visitor Center / store. The nearest dump station is located in Granite Falls.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, kayaking, canoeing, horseback riding, hiking, biking, picnicking, volleyball, horse shoes and wildlife viewing. Cross-country skiing and snowmobiling are also popular in the winter.
