Emery Bay Campground has 26 campsites and is located on the east shore of Hungry Horse Reservoir and less than 30 miles from the Continental Divide. Campsites 1 to 8 have views of the water. Two group sites are also available.

There are 16 reservable campsites and the rest are first-come first-serve. Group camping is also available. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site has a table, fire ring and grate. Amenities include drinking water, vault toilets and a boat ramp. Campground roads and parking spurs are gravel. Firewood is also available for purchase from the camp host.

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, water sports, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting, OHV trail riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
