Indian Trees Campground has 15 single-family campsites and is located among numerous ponderosa pine trees in the Bitterroot National Forest of southwest Montana. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 50 feet). Most sites can handle up to 10 people and 2 vehicles. Campsite #2 is for use by bicycle campers only.

Campground amenities include drinking water and vault toilets. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. Groceries and supplies are within 5 miles of the campground. Cell service is spotty in the area.

Indian Trees – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation in the are includes fishing, mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. There area is also where the Lewis & Clark expedition traveled through on its watt Lost Trail Pass.
