Fort Hamby Park campground has 32 campsites (with water & electric hookups) and is located on the north side of W. Kerr Scott Reservoir in western North Carolina.  Group camping is also available. Campsites 22/23 and 31/32 are double sites. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers, trash collection and a dump station. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. There’s also a boat ramp, playground and basketball court at the Park. Cell service is good in the area.

Fort Hamby Park – Area Recreation

Visitor can enjoy a wide variety of recreation activities including boating, canoe/kayaking, fishing, water sports, swimming, biking, hiking, hunting and wildlife viewing.
