Mount Pisgah Campground has 128 campsites and is located in the Appalachian Mountain Range along the Blue Ridge Parkway of North Carolina. There are 53 reservable sites and 72 are first-come, first-served. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each campsite also has a table, lantern post, fire ring and grate.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($), food storage lockers, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also an amphitheater, picnic areas, trails and WiFi. Firewood is also available for sale at the campground. Cell service is poor in the area.

Mount Pisgah Area Recreation

This area of the country has scenery that never disappoints, whether blanketed in wildflowers in the spring or a bursting with orange, yellow and red hues in the fall.  The Blue Ridge Parkway is a scenic byway that follows the high crests of the central and southern Appalachians for 469 miles from Shenandoah National Park in Virginia to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina. Outdoor recreation includes hiking, camping, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Davidson River Campground is just 18 miles to the south. Lake Powhatan Campground is also nice.
