Capulin Campground has 10 campsites and is located along a creek in beautiful Casias Canyon near Taos.  All campsites are first-come, first-serve and best suited for tent camping or small trailers (under 12 feet). Sites also require a short walk from the parking area.

Amenities include one vault toilet. No water is available. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, ATVing, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Be sure to check out the trail to the “Ice Cave” waterfall.

Other campgrounds in Casias Canyon include La Sombra and Las Petacas.
