Silver Creek Campground Nevada

Silver Creek Overview

Silver Creek Campground has 22 single-family campsites and is located near some nice fishing creeks at the East For Carson River. The town of Markleeville is also nearby.

Most campsites are reservable, but sites 1, 12, 21 and 22 are first-come, first-serve.  About half of the sites are okay for RVs or small trailers. Sites 2, 3 and 11 are pull-thru sites. Our best RV site is #15 and the best tent site is #5.

Campground amenities include vault toilets and potable/drinking water (most of the time). Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. Each campsite also has a table, food storage locker, fire ring and grate.

Silver Creek – Area Recreation

Popular outdoor recreation includes fishing nearby creeks and the East Fork Carson River, as well as hiking, mountain biking, picnicking, photography and wildlife viewing.

A few other campgrounds in the area include Markleeville and Grover Hot Springs State Park.
