Wilmington Notch campground has 54 single-family campsites in a forested area and is located along the Ausable River. On the other side of the river you can catch a gondola ride to the summit of Olympic Whiteface Mountain. Lake Placid Olympic Village is also only 8 miles from the campground.

Campsites are suitable for tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers and a dump station. Firewood is also available for sale at the campground.

Wilmington Notch – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation in the area includes canoeing/kayaking (during the spring), fishing, swimming,  hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Adirondack Park also offers visitors over 6 million acres to explore.   There are also many towns and villages, fine lodging, luxury resorts and family-friendly accommodations throughout the park.
