Black Canyon Campground has 75 campsites (19 reservable) and is next to the Middle Fork of the Willamatte River in a mature forest of Douglas-fir.  Several of the campsites are along the river (see campground map). Multi-family campsites are also available (up to 3 vehicles, 3 tents and 8 people).

Amenities include potable (drinking) water, vault toilets and trash collection. There’s also a boat ramp, boat trailer parking, picnic/day-use area and an amphitheater. Firewood is available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is poor in the area.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill.

Other campgrounds in the area include Rujada, Ivan Oakes, Fall Creek SRA, Dolly Varden and Broken Bowl.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, paddle-boating, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
