Farewell Bend Campground has 61 single-family campsites and is located along the Rogue River in the midst of an old-growth forest. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Group camping is also available.  Each campsite has a table, fire ring and grate.

Campground amenities include drinking water and flush toilets. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. Cell service is not available in the area.

Farewell Bend Area Recreation

The area offers a lot of outdoor fun including fishing, rafting and kayaking on the Rogue River. Other activities include hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Hikers will enjoy easy access to Union Creek and the Upper Rogue River Trails. Natural Bridge and Rouge Gorge are also within easy walking distance from the campground. Crater Lake National Park is also nearby, and the campground has an amazing children’s play area!

Other campgrounds in the area include Rogue Elk, Hamaker, Mazama and Lost Creek (Crater Lake).
