Hoodview Campground has 45 single-family campsites and is on the southeastern shore of Timothy Lake, with spectacular views of the surround forest and Mt. Hood. Campsites 10, 11, 12, 38, 39 and 40 are “walk-to”.

Campground amenities include drinking water and vault toilets. Firewood is also available for sale from the camp host. There’s also an amphitheater and boat ramp here. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. Cell service is fair.

Hoodview Area Recreation

The area offers incredible views of the surrounding forest, miles of hiking trails and great fishing in creeks and lakes. Other outdoor recreation includes swimming, canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, mountain biking, picnicking, horseback riding, and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Gone Creek, Pine Point, Oak Fork and Little Crater Lake.
