Lagoon Area Recreation

The main attraction at Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area is the spectacular wind-sculpted sand dunes. Some of the dunes rise up to 500 feet above sea level. Outdoor recreation includes off roading, picnicking, sand play, hiking, biking fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and beach combing. Also, boating is available at Tahkenitch Lake and Siltcoos Lake. Wildlife viewing is also nice here!

Other Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area campgrounds include Bluebill, Spinreel, Tahkenitch and Waxmyrtle.
