South Shore Campground has 38 campsites and is one of there campgrounds on the south side of Suttle Lake in Deschutes National Forest. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 50 feet). Some campsites are along the shoreline and others on the hillside.

Campground amenities include drinking water, vault toilets, trash collection and a fish cleaning station. There’s also a picnic area and boat launch at the campground. Firewood is available to purchase from the camp host. Cell service is good. Campsites also have a table, fire ring and grill.

Other campgrounds in the area include Blue Bay, Link Creek, Riverside and Scout Lake.

South Shore – Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, kayaking, canoeing, paddle-boarding, fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
