The Springfield Recreation Area campground has 20 campsites and is located right on the shores of the Missouri River. All have electric hookups and have great views and access to the river.  Cabins are also available to rent.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and a dump station. There’s also a 9-hole golf course, boat ramp, amphitheater, archery trail, picnic area and playground.

Springfield Recreation Area – Activities

Outdoor recreation includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, water sports, fishing, hiking, biking, disc golf, horseback riding, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Visitors can also enjoy cross-country skiing in the winter.
