David Crockett State Park Campground has 97 campsites (with water & electric hookups) in two camping areas set in a wooded area of the park. Campground 1 (sites 1-45) have 30-amp electric and Campground 2 (sites 46-97) have 20-30-50 amp service. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate. The campground roads and campsite parking spurs are paved. There are also 10 primitive (walk-to) campsites and 7 cabins are also available for rent.

Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers and a dump station. There’s also a visitor center, gift shop, restaurant, swimming pool and historic buildings that are open to the public.

David Crockett State Park – Area Recreation

In addition to visiting the historic sites at the park, visitors can enjoy kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing, hiking, biking, swimming (in the swimming pool), picnicking and wildlife viewing. Paddle boat rentals are available at Lake Lindsey’s boat dock.
