  1. This was my first time camping at LKSP. Overall, I really enjoyed myself, and it was easy to reserve and find a shaded campsite that was also near water. The shade is not over your rig, there you’ll receive sunshine 11-3pm.

It was dead quiet, the bathrooms in the White Deer Loop (1-46) were really nice but watch out for spiders occupying that center ceiling vent. They like to come down and say hi. The showers were nice but make sure to wear non slip shoes as it does get slippery and humid in the combined bathroom/shower rooms. They were wheelchair accessible too.

One warning is that the photographs taken here do not accurately show how narrow the driveways are or the depth. I had about 2.5 feet on one side of my rig and one foot on the other (the driver’s / shore power side). The photos make it look roomier.

We were at site #23 which seemed about 1-2 degrees at an angle so it’s not flat flat. Many of them are. My propane/electric fridge did not have an issue running nor did we feel the angle while sleeping. We only felt the angle while walking up and down the aisle.

The picnic benches are great, aluminum, easy to clean and the tent spaces are really well shaded (perfect for chairs if you’re not using a tent).

Make sure to bring a bike and/or definitely enjoy the trails!

If you are accompanied by someone who can’t walk trails or is in a wheelchair, there’s plenty of road to walk/roll on flat surfaces.
