Pedernales Falls State Park campground is located a short walk to the Pedernales River and has 80 single-family campsites. There are 60 with water & electric hookups and 20 primitive sites. One group camp and one cabin area also available. Many of the campsites have tree shade to escape the hot summer temps. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers and a dump station. There’s also a camp store, picnic area and amphitheater.

Perdernales Falls State Park – Area Recreation & Info

Pedernales Falls State Park features a limestone gorge filled with deep pools beaches and waterfalls. Six miles of the Pedernales river winds through the 5,212-acre Park. Activities include hiking, swimming, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, wading, mountain biking, picnicking, horseback riding fishing and wildlife viewing. River recreation is in a limited area beginning at the Youth Group Camping area and continuing downriver to the park boundary.
