Just visited this January 16-19, 2023 and loved taking photos of all the sites and surroundings here! Completely upgraded campground. Reserve online or at pay station or pay at the window. All but 7 sites are pull through with plenty of room for toys (boats, atvs, etc) Day use areas, ATV/Jeep trail close by, boat ramp, and trails all convenient. Beware of the burrs/cactus throughout especially in day use areas. Not ideal area for pets.
The waterfalls were not flowing at this time. New bathrooms and showers (big one near site 5 is fancy and heated). Code needed to get into the showers- received at check in. Blue Heron, Bald eagles, various species of Ducks, bluebirds and hawks and we heard owls and coyote at night. Beautiful scenery and only 9 miles to Veyo UT where you can purchase the famous Veyo pies (I recommend the pot pies!) Some traffic noise. Not bad. I imagine this being busier in warmer/ fall seasons. When we were there, we were the only ones! Weather was chilly, rain, rainbows and some wind. Overall it was awesome.
