We recently stayed in the White Oak campground and the bath house and restrooms were filthy..Saw a camper trying to clean it up. Very disappointed. Love Douthat but if you don’t do a better job with the facilities we won’t be back. I wont subject my grandson or ourselves to those conditions.

I stayed at Douthat and found the facilities to be well taken care of and very clean. Quite often young children and thoughtless adults create more mess in the restrooms for the hosts to clean up and get all huffy if it isn’t cleaned up right away. Some people forget that campers are the ones that make the mess.
There are a lot of trails to hike and the new horse facilities will be handy for camping equestrians.
