Chittenden Brook Campground has 17 campsites near the brook in the Green Mountain & Finger Lakes National Forests.  The heavily wooded area provides nice shade and campsites are best suited for tent camping.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 18 feet). Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill.  Campground amenities include vault toilets and trash collection. Drinking water is not available. Cell service is also not available in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Silver Lake (9 miles) and Moosalamoo (9 miles).

Area Recreation & Activities

With an abundance of well-maintained trails, mountain vistas, waterfalls, and streams, the Chittenden Brook area offers plentiful opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, swimming, river tubing, fishing, hunting, and more. The Chittenden Brook trail system starts at the campground and passes through a mature northern hardwood forest, along a pristine mountain stream, and past a beaver pond on its way to connecting with the Long Trail.
