D.A.R. State Park Campground is on the shores of Lake Champlain and has 47 campsites for tents, trailers and RVs, as well as 24 lean-to sites.  Group camping is also available. Each campsite has a table, fire ring and grate. The campground is set in an open grassy area and under a mature stand of hickory trees. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers (coin operated), trash collection and a dump station.

D.A.R. State Park has a small picnic area located on a bluff above the lake, a stone pavilion for group gatherings, playground, volleyball court and boat ramp. There are also many historic sites in this area, with human habitation dating back over 7,500 years.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation activities include boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, water sports, hiking, biking  and wildlife viewing.

Branbury State Park is just 28 miles away and located on the shore of Lake Dunmore.
