  1. First time camping with friends and family came in early Aug stayed almost a week and was wanting to come back first week of September… How does the campground fill up labor day weekend usually? Should I come on a Thursday to be sure to get a spot?

    • Hi Monique, CammpsitePhotos.com is not associated with any of the campgrounds listed on our site. We provide the photos, campground info and link to make reservations. In general though – Labor Day camping is busy and it would be smart to arrive on Thursday to try and get a first-come, first-serve site over Labor Day weekend at Big Creek.

  2. I camped here last weekend. The campground itself is very nice. The clientele, not so much. Lots of loud partying into the morning hours, then some jerk started firing a gun nonstop at 8 am. I wouldn’t feel safe staying here again without any employees available to enforce the law.
