Bridgeport State Park offers 34 campsites in a well maintained campground along the shoreline of Rufus Woods Lake (a reservoir of the Columbia River). There are 20 sites with water & electric hookups and 14 tent-only campsites. Group camping is also available (20 to 72 people). Campsites 31-34 are ‘walk-to’ (about 200 feet from parking area).

Campsites are situated on a lawn area that has many shade trees. Each site has a table, fire ring and grill. Check-in time is 2:30pm and check-out is 1:00pm.  Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, trash collection and one dump station. Ice and firewood are also available for sale at the camp office. The park also has a 9-hole golf course, picnic/day-use area, hiking trails, 2 boat ramps and 240 feet of dock. Cell service is also good.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, swimming, water sports, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
