Cougar Rock – Area Recreation

The 14, 411 foot  Mount Rainier National Park offers some great photo opportunities and visitors can also enjoy  the old-growth forests, waterfalls, hiking, climbing, fishing, sight-seeing, biking and wildlife viewing. The area provides a good jumping off spot to hike in the Paradise area with many hiking trails to choose from including the rather difficult, but hauntingly beautiful Wonderland Trail.

Ohanapecosh and White River are two other campgrounds in Mount Rainer National park.
