Devil’s Lake State Park has 3 campgrounds with a total of 423 single-family campsites (up to 6 people), and 9 group campsites. All campgrounds are located near the lake and along the Ice Age National Scenic Trail.
Quartize campground is open year-round and is in a mostly open area about 1/3 of a mile from the lake. Large trees are scattered throughout the campground and provide shade to many sites. There are both electric (75 campsites) and non-electric campsites. Most sites can accommodate larger RVs. Amenities include water, flush toilets and a dump/fill station. A playground is also in the middle of the campground. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.
Northern Lights campground (campsites 104-246) have both electric (71 sites) and non-electric sites in an open and wooded area. The campground also has water, flush toilets, showers, a dump/fill station and playground.
Ice Age campground has non-electric sites in two sections. Lower Ice Age (301-390) is in a partly wooded/open area. Upper Ice Age (401-535) is in a wooded area. Ice Age campground is about a mile from the lake. Amenities include water, showers, flush and vault toilets. There’s also a camp store located in the lower campground.
Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, fishing, water sports, swimming, hiking, biking, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing. Paddleboats, kayaks, canoes and rowboats are available to rent at the lake.
