Lathrop State Park is Colorado’s first state park and includes 1,594 acres at the base of Spanish Peaks in Southern Colorado. The Park’s two lakes offer a variety of recreational activities including boating, fishing, water skiing, sailing boating, swimming, hiking, biking and wildlife viewing.
Lathrop State Park has two campgrounds with 103 single-family campsites that can accommodate RVs, trailers and tents. Pinon campground has 82 campsites (some with 50 amp electric / no water or sewer) and Yucca campground has 21 non-electric sites. All campsites have fire rings and picnic tables, with water located throughout the campground.
