Woods Canyon Lake Group 005

Woods Canyon Lake Group Campground has 1 group camping area with 13 individual campsites and is a short distance from the lake. The campground is also set in a forest of Ponderosa pine, Douglas fir and oak.

The group are can accommodate up to 100 people. Each of the group campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.  Electric hookups are not available. Amenities include potable (drinking) water and a vault toilet. There’s also a large community area with several tables, fire pit and BBQs. Overflow parking is also available.

Area Recreation & Activities

Woods Canyon Lake is set in a beautiful canon and is stocked regularly with catchable rainbow trout. The area also has a picnic area (fee), restrooms, and a boat ramp. There is also a general store and marina that rents boats, sells licenses and fishing supplies.

Other recreation activities include mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, ATV trail riding and hunting. Wildlife viewing is also nice in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Crook Group, Rim, Aspen and Spillway.
