Lake Piru Olive Grove campground has 234 single-family campsites for tents, trailers and RVS and is about 1/2 mile from Lake Piru in the Los Padres National Forest. The majority of the campsites (1 to 200) are set among large olive trees. Oak trees provide shade to several other sites (202 – 234). Hookups are available and each site has a table, fire ring and grill. The campground also has drinking water, flush toilets, showers and an RV dump station. There are also two group campsites. This is a popular campground and it does get hot in the summer.

Lake Piru Olive Grove – Area Recreation

Lake Piru Recreation area is located in Ventura County about an hour away from the Los Angeles area. The lake is very large and offers a wide variety of water sports and outdoor activity including fishing, boating, water skiing, wake boarding, kayaking and sailing. On land you can also enjoy hiking, biking, horseshoes, a 9-hole disc golf course, horseback riding, wildlife viewing and other activities. Lake Piru has a marina, camp store and boat rentals.

Castaic Lake Recreation Area is also nearby. It’s about 23 miles away and has 65 campsites available.

    Small little lake with a big heart. The camp hosts and staff were amazing Taylor, Todd, Brian,Dylan, Adriana, Lauren (or Loran?) Anyway they all made me and my friends feel so welcome. Friendly and so professional and informative. Clean restrooms, showers and campsites. Had the best time on the pontoons!! Go there.
