Pacific Valley Campground has 19 campsites next to Pacific Creek in a beautiful meadow area surrounded by tall conifers. Equestrian camping (horse trailers ) may camp at the southern end of the campground (near trailhead).  The Mokelumne River is also nearby.

All campsites are first-come, first-serve and the campground is usually open mid late May to late September (weather permitting).

Campsites are best suited for tent camping, but camper vans and small trailers/RVs are okay. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Amenities include drinking water (hand pump / summer only) and vault toilets. Trash collection is not provided (pack in/pack out). Cell service is not available in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Bloomfield, Mosquito Lakes, Lodgepole and Spicer Meadow.

Outdoor recreation in the area includes fishing, hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, hunting, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
