Pardee Lake Recreation Area has two campgrounds that are open year round (Lakeview and Oaks) with a total of about 140 campsites. Lakeview is within walking distance to the Marina and has some top-notch views of the water. It also has 12 RV-hook-up campsites.  The Oaks campground is a little more secluded and has smaller sites best suited for tents and smaller trailers/RVs. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grill. The campground has vault toilets and drinking water. Hot showers and a laundry are also available at the marina. Group camping is also available.

  1. Larry Griffith says:

I would like to reserve a camp site for week days.

  2. Pardee is a beautiful lake with a historic dam and I love to go there for the relaxation. But this website is misleading in that Pardee is a Zero Body Contact lake, meaning that there is no swimming, wading or skiing allowed.

  3. Beverly de Vries-Steele says:

When does your camping season begin and end?

  4. Fallon Wingard says:

Camping there this weekend and wondering if we can have a camp fire. Can you advise?

    • Good question Fallon. There are some fire restrictions in the western Sierra, but we have not been able to confirm whether camp fires are okay at Pardee Lake Recreation area. I suggest calling them directly at 209 772-1472

  5. freddie able saavedra says:

    Are Camp Fires allowed?

    • Hi Freddie, you can have campfires at the campground, but we are unsure of the fire restrictions. I recommend you contact Pardee Lake Recreation Area directly at: 209 772-1472

  6. Hi,
Are all of the loops open? I have been in the winter and have seen that the best (most level) sites are closed??
    Thanks,
    Lori

    • Hi Lori,
Pardee Lake Recreation Area usually closes some of the camping loops during the winter months. Those are generally made available by May. You can check availability by clicking on the ‘Make A Reservation’ button from the campground page.

Been going there for over 15 years. Staff is beyond wonderful and the owners are very friendly. My kids grew up camping here and are now adults. Even the people whom live on the site are helpful if staff members are not around. Absolutely love it here. Our home away from home.
