Hello! I am reserving a campsite at Table Mountain for tent camping over Labor Day weekend. My priorities are shade and privacy, and to a lesser degree, shelter from wind and views. I am choosing between sites 80, 92, and 117. Can you recommend which one would be best? Thank you!
Hi Nicole,
All three campsites (80, 92 and 117) are among our favorites at Table Mountain Campground. We generally pick the sites based on location (view, next to water, etc.), privacy, size and if they are level. I’d lean more towards 92 and 117 for size, shade and privacy. They may also have a view. Site 92 and 80 may have better protection if windy. Have a great time up there!
Hello, I have two sites reserved and need to cancel one of them. Do you have a recommendation between site 84 and 90 as to which is better? Thank you for any advice you can give.
Hi Matthew,
I’d lean more toward site #90. Its larger, more level and away from the vault toilet. Site #84 is close to and could be down-wind of the toilet. It also has a small incline to walk up to picnic table area. Both appear to have the same exposure (not much shade).
This is great. Thank you very much for your help!
You are welcome. Have fun!
