    Hello,

We are hoping to visit Teal Lake for some camping very soon! Are you open now with the CO-VID19 situation? Please let me know asap so we can plan our trip.

    Thanks,

    Hi,
We want to camp at Teal Lake July 17-18 or another Friday-Saturday this summer. Because the campground is first come first served, how likely is it that you will find a spot if you arrive in the early afternoon? Thanks for your help.

    • Hi Debbie, Teal Lake campground usually has availability, but weekends are a little more popular (especially with Civid-Cabin fever). And there are only 17 campsites. With that said, an early afternoon arrival should get you a spot. If possible, it’d be better to get there in the morning. Best of luck and hope you get a site!

Are there any dispersed campsites in the area?

  4. Is swimming allowed?

  5. Hi, I want to camp early October to this campground. Can you tell me a bit of what to expect weather wise so I can begin to plan accordingly?

    • Hi Amanda,
The temperatures will be on the chilly side – low 50s during the day and lows 20s during the night. The area usually has 5-7 rainy days during October, which will turn to snow if temps are below 32 degrees. You may also get some fall colors depending on when in October you go. Hope this helps!

Hello. We are planning to camp at Teal Lake arriving by noon this Friday 7/29/22 and staying until morning of 7/31/22. I know that it’s first come, first serve, but could you tell me what the availability was like this past weekend, so that I might have an idea of this coming weekend? Thanks so much. Laura

    • Hi Laura,
Unfortunately we don’t have an employee on site at Teal Lake Campground so I can’t give you an idea of how busy it was this past weekend. You might try calling the phone number for the campground: 307 745-2300
