Sawtooth Mountain View Campground has 7 campsites and is located on the east side of Little Redfish Lake in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area.

The campground is first-come, first-served and is usually open May through September. Amenities include drinking water and flush toilets. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.  There’s also a visitor center, interpretive programs, equestrian stables, boat rentals and an RV dump station nearby.

Sawtooth Mountain View Area Recreation

The campground is located in the heart of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area and has a variety of outdoor recreation activities. Little Redfish Lake has some great fishing for trout and wild cutthroat. You can also enjoy canoeing, kayaking, sailing, waterskiing, and swimming.  Other outdoor recreation includes hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, picnicking, horseback riding and hunting. Wildlife viewing is also great in the area.

Other campgrounds in the area include Sockeye, Glacier View, Mount Heyburn, Chinook Bay and Redfish Outlet.
