Bayou Segnette State Park Campground has 100 campsites with water and electrical hookups and is located right along the bayou. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Cabins are also available for rent. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grate.
Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets and hot showers. There’s also a playground, picnic area (with covers pavilion), wave pool, marina and boat launch.
Bayout Segnette State Park – Area Recreation
Visitors can enjoy a variety recreational opportunities including boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, biking, hiking, picnicking and swimming in the wave pool. The beautiful ecosystem also provides a variety of wildlife to enjoy.

You must have shot the pics during our two weeks of winter. Sites are far more green than your pictures. For activities, I like to know what beach are you referring too.

You’re correct – we photographed Bayou Segnette State Park in the winter. And sorry, there isn’t a beach at the park. We removed that from the campground page. Thanks for catching that!
First time at Bayou Segnette. Went November 13-14. Really nice park. We were told that the bugs are bad but it was in the 50’s at night by the fire and had no problem. Can say we would go in the summer because we hate bugs.
