Bogue Chitto State Park offers 1,786 acres of steams, swamps, hardwood, forest, upland forest, rolling landscape and a campground has 81 premium campsites and 4 cabins. All 81 campsites have electric and water hookups, as well as a table, fire ring and grill. Campsites 1-46 also have sewer hookups. If you want to be closer to the water than go for campsites 101-135. There are also 2 primitive campsites and 2 group campsites. Bogue Chitto campground has drinking water, flush toilets, fire wood for sale and a dump station.
Our favorite Brogue Chitto State Park campsites are: Upland Sites 1-33, 38, 39 and 40.
Bogue Chitto State Park – Area Recreation
Bogue Chitto State Park has a variety of outdoor recreation activities including boating, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, water sports, hiking, biking, wildlife viewing, horseback riding, disc golf and much more. The park also has a 7-mile nature trail and 14-mile equestrian trail. Horseback rentals are available and include a guide to ride the 14 miles of trails included in the park. Canoe, kayak and tube rentals are also available at the park beginning April 1. The rental includes a life vest, padded and shuttle service.

Do you have pictures of your cabins and site pictures for cabins. Prices and do you allow pets ?

Is there a price list available for sites and rentals? We can’t makes plans without knowing what we need in our budget.

The Horseback Rentals are a nice refreshing and relaxing experience. Guides are great. Bottomlands sites along the creek are best in my opinion however, only water and electric if full hook up’s is what your looking for the Uplands section is for you. Very shaded sites. Water park and splash pad are a very nice amenity.
