Roosevelt State Park campground has 109 RV sites (full hookups), 15 cabins, primitive tent sites, a motel and group camping area. Most sites are in a wooded area with pretty views of Shadow Lake. The campground has drinking water, a laundry, dump station, flush toilets, and showers. Each campsite has a table, fire ring and grate. Check in is 4pm and check out is 2pm.
Other amenities at Roosevelt State Park include hiking and biking trails, disc golf, a gift shop/camp store, picnic area and pavilion, playground, swimming pool, tennis court and lookout tower. There’s also a water park / water slide! The camp store sells firewood, ice, food, snacks and other supplies. Shadow Lake also has some nice fishing and water sports (boat ramp available).
If you’re heading north along the Natchez Trace Parkway, Jeff Busby campground is at mile post 193.1.
Roosevelt State Park Special Events
Roosevelt Ice Bowl Disc Golf Tournament held annually the fourth Saturday of February.
Fall Foliage Camporee held annually the first weekend of November.
Bluegrass Festival held annually the last weekend of February.

Filthy bathrooms, fire pit filled with cans, pads and roads very steep drop on each side
The park is beautiful. Bathrooms were clean. The big draw back was the steep roads and a lot of the paved camper sites had big drop off and very steep edges. There were a lot of nice shady areas. The lake is gorgeous. I don’t know if we will go back just because of the steep edges on the roads and the paved camper sites.
