Watauga Dam Campground has 29 spacious campsites (all with water & electric hookups) and is located next to the beautiful Watauga River in Eastern Tennessee.  Many of the sites are waterfront and 3 also have sewer hookups.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Up to 3 vehicles and 8 people allowed per site. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, showers, trash collection , overflow parking, trash collection and a dump station. A small camp store is also available and sells wood, ice, snacks and supplies. Cell service is fair in the area.

Area Recreation & Activities

Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
