We visited Ike Kinswa State Park yesterday to scout out the campsites for next summer, since we had reserved #32 for a week. Glad we went there and saw what they had done to site 32! They built a fence, reducing the site to a MUCH smaller area (and making it feel like you’re in somebody’s back yard). Behind the fence are an electrical box (in a chainlink fenced area) and septic tank access points. We’re definitely changing our reservation to another site! I’m happy to provide updated pictures.

    • Hi Christy,
Thanks for your comment and good to know about changes to site #32. That would be great if you could send us your photos of that campsite so we could make the change on CampsitePhotos.com. You can email to: campranger@campsitephotos.com. Thank you!

  3. We stated in site #16 Best spot on the lake 9 wonderful days!!!.
Ike Kinswa is a a beautiful park clean and tidy. Great beach area, seimming kayaking boating. The sites are roomy and spacious. We had perfect weather! The restrooms were clean with
    hot showers.
The grounds throughout were spotless. Very relaxing… quiet and peaceful. Great time for family and friends. Also the ranger was extremely helpful and very informative with history about the lake and general area. We love Ike Kinswa State park.
