River Island State Park Overview

River Island State Park 034

River Island State Park campground has 37 campsites and is located in a beautiful cove next to the Colorado River in Parker, AZ. There are 8 beachfront campsites (with water & electric, 2o-amp) for tents and small trailers/RVs, and another 29 campsites (water and electric) for tents, trailers and larger RVs (up to 65 feet).  Group camping is also available. Each campsite also has a table, fire ring and grate.

Campground amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers ($) and a dump station. There’s also a boat ramp and sandy beach / day use area. The River Island Market is also just 1/4 mile outside of the park.

River Island State Park – Area Recreation

Outdoor recreation includes boating, fishing, water skiing, swimming, jet skiing, hiking, mountain biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing. There are also some nice OTV trails in the area.

You may also be interested in Buckskin Mountain State Park. Mayflower Regional Park is also located down river by Blythe, CA.
