  1. Laura Kelley says:

We were torn on this campground. The good – close to Morro Bay and great beaches, it is a pretty location and there are some nice hiking trails right out of the campgrounds. The not so good – so many ticks and poison oak, and there is only one road in and out of the campgrounds so all traffic goes right in front of your campsite. There seemed to be a lot of traffic, some day hikers, some campers and a lot of Looky Lou’s. We were in site 8, which sits nicely back from the road. The campgrounds were very clean and the restrooms were serviced daily. We think for some this would be an ideal place to stay, for us we like a little more privacy.
