Lost Maples State Natural Area covers 2,172 acres and offers a variety of outdoor recreation activities including backpacking, biking, hiking, fishing, swimming, explore archaeological sites, and wildlife viewing. The Park has a combination of steep, rugged limestone canyons, springs, grasslands, wooded slopes and clear streams. It’s also a great place to view beautiful fall foliage when the Bigtooth Maple changes color (usually the last 2 weeks of October and first 2 weeks of November).
