At this time, other day-use parks, such as Sand Harbor State Park, will not offer reservations, however, the system will continue to be optimized with new features and tools to meet the diverse needs of Nevada State Park’s staff and visitors.  Dispersed and primitive camping areas are also not reservable at most state parks in Nevada.

  1. FYI, they take your money out of your account the day you make the reservation. So if you are reserved out 8 months, they will have your money all those months. This is not like a hotel reservation where they take the money out when you show up. Makes it hard for me to reserve sites for my 5 months of travel. I would always go to our parks during that travel time. I guess that will change now. Sad, I really love our parks.
