Florala State Park Overview

Florala State Park (also known as Florala City Park) has 28 full hookup campsites and is located on the shores of Lake Jackson and within the city limits of Florala. There are also 8 (tent-only) primitive sites. You can make a campsite reservation by calling 334-858-6425.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site has a parking spur, full hookups, table, fire ring and grill.

The campground is open year round. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, flush toilets, hot-water showers, trash collection (dumpsters) and a laundry facility. There’s also a nice picnic area and playground, as well as two public swimming areas and a public boat launch.

Florala State Park – Area Recreation

The Park is located on Lake Jackson’s 500-acre natural spring fed lake.   Recreation activities include swimming, water sports, boating, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, biking and picnicking. Wildlife viewing is also nice here.
