Dam Site Lake Campground has 45 campsites and is located on a peninsula jetting out into beautiful Beaver Lake. All sites have electric hookups and 30 also have water hookups. There are 29 waterfront sites.

The campground is generally open early April through October. Amenities include potable (drinking) water, flush toilets, hot-water showers, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also 2 boat ramps in the park (one near the campground), a swim beach, picnic area and playground. Cell service is good.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site also has a paved parking spur (ranging in length from 15 to 40 feet), covered table, lantern post, fire ring and grill.

Dam Site Lake Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Towering limestone bluffs, natural caves and a variety of trees and flowering shrubs surround Dam Site Lake Campground, making it an ideal retreat for outdoor enthusiasts. Outdoor recreation in the area includes boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, swimming, scuba diving, water sports, hiking, biking,  spelunking, hunting, picnicking and wildlife viewing.

Other campgrounds in the area include Prairie Creek, Lost Bridge North, Lost Bridge South, Starkey and Horseshoe Bend.
