Horseshoe Bend (Dierks Lake) Campground Dierks Lake Arkansas

Horseshoe Bend (Dierks Lake) Overview

Horseshoe Bend Campground has 13 spacious campsites (water & electric hookups) set right along the Saline River just south of Dierks Dam. This section of river was home home to the Olympic trials in the late 1990. When water conditions are right the course simulates Class II to Class IV rapids, all within a safe location that is easily accessible for paddlers to practice new techniques.

Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs. Each site has water and electric hookups, a parking spur (up to 45 feet), table, fire ring and grill. Other amenities include drinking water, restrooms with flush toilets and showers, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also a playground and fitness trail. Cell service is poor.
