Point Cedar Overview

Point Cedar Campground has 62 spacious campsites in a wooded setting next to beautiful Degray Lake. Campsites 1-42 have water & electric hookups and sites 43-62 are primitive (no hookups). Sites 29-32 have water & electricity but are walk-to (tent only) sites.

Each site has a paved parking spur, electric hookups, table, lantern post, fire ring and grill. The 4 tent sites have a common parking area that is a short walk to the tent sites.

The campground is generally open early May to late November. Amenities include water, restrooms with flush toilets, hot-water showers, trash collection and a dump station. There’s also a playground, picnic area, swim area and boat ramp nearby. Cell service is fair in the area.

Shouse Ford Campground is also nearby.

Point Cedar Campground – Area Recreation & Activities

Degray Lake is one of the region’s five Diamond Lakes, known for their crystal clear waters. The lake flows from the Caddo River in western Arkansas and spans 13,500 surface acres.

Outdoor recreation includes boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, snorkeling, water sports, hiking, biking, picnicking and wildlife viewing.
